CHALLENGE: A national distributor of consumer electronics and home theater equipment was revamping their e-commerce website to drive sales. The executive team wanted detailed customer research that could be used to drive the design, branding and content of the new website.
APPROACH: Siegfried Dunlay designed and conducted in-depth customer research for the executive leadership team and Internet marketing agency. Deploying four separate quantitative online surveys, Siegfried Dunlay reached 4,500 customers/vendors; and conducted qualitative research through a series of more than 50 telephone interviews.
RESULTS: The CEO and executive team used the research goals, report and compilation of data to drive solid business decisions and inform website redevelopment in partnership with an Internet Marketing agency that managed a multi-month e-commerce website redesign.
