CHALLENGE: A talented global leader in an international manufacturing corporation struggled to communicate succinctly while keeping critical audiences top of mind. His communication approach was "one-size fits all audiences" — everyone needed to know all the details.
APPROACH: Siegfried Dunlay designed and implemented a multi-month leadership coaching program designed to enhance communication skills based on the leader’s unique needs. Using 360° feedback, Siegfried Dunlay built a customized plan and set up a safe learning environment where the leader could fine-tune his communications skills. A variety of techniques were used including videotaping, role-playing and shadowing at meetings.
RESULTS: At the end of six months, the leader was placed into a broader, more complex role to lead a critical growth area of the company in another part of the country.
