CHALLENGE: Due to a changing competitive landscape, a national educational institution needed to make significant changes to work, staffing and schedule processes to continue delivering on their vision: to create an exceptional learning experience for every student.
APPROACH: Siegfried Dunlay supported a national, two-day Faculty Chair symposium with a series of communication tools, from research and writing to approvals and final delivery of a communications toolkit. Siegfried Dunlay also provided coaching for all presenters, and delivered a workshop on the role of "leader as communicator." A follow-up survey measured success of the symposium and the rollout.
RESULTS: Survey results were extremely positive. Leaders strongly agreed that they understood the direction of the company, why the changes were necessary, their role to champion the changes, and that they had the right tools to successfully communicate the change.
