CHALLENGE:
The CEO of a global manufacturing company recognized a communication gap with employees across the company. He envisioned a quarterly global newsletter that would better align all employees to corporate goals, initiatives and successes, particularly for the 6,000 factory employees who spoke many languages.

APPROACH:
Siegfried Dunlay helped design and execute the newsletter strategy. Work included quarterly planning with a global editorial board, interviews and writing, proofreading, approvals, design, translation into 12 languages and delivery in a distribution-ready format. After production of the newsletter for several years, Siegfried Dunlay assisted with plans to evolve the newsletter to an online format.

RESULTS:
The CEO was extremely pleased with feedback he heard from employees in his travels to various locations around the globe. Readership survey results were consistently high for being “valuable” and “keeping me up to date” on company news.
